Our take
As a parent of two young kids and a hyper dog, I needed something that could stand up to spills and muddy paws. This cover does the job reasonably well. The waterproof backing works as advertised—I've tested it. The elastic straps keep it in place most of the time, though I do find myself adjusting after the kids jump on the couch. It's not the softest fabric, but it's decent for the price. The brown color blends in with my living room, and it's easy to wipe clean. However, the dimensions are a bit snug on my recliner, and there's no specific cutout for the recliner handle. If you have a standard loveseat, it should fit fine. Overall, a practical choice for high-traffic homes.
